What is this? 🤔The Demon Slayer API is a free API that uses Data from official and fan base sources from the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series. The purpose of this web site was to build a REST API where developers can use it and practice the basics of consuming APIs in a fun way.
Why Demon Slayer? 🔥I wanted to create this API enjoying the process and based in a TV show that wasn't too exploded in internet. And of course, I love this serie and its world.
Who am I? 👦My name is Alvaro Rodriguez and I enjoy developing things. You can check my Linkedin here. Wich technologies did I use? 📝The whole project is created with Next JS, a powerful framework of React that offers you Server Side Rendering to generate the frontend, and API routes to create different endpoints. The database has been created with PostgreSQL and both, website and database, are hosted on Vercel. For styling the website I used Tailwind css wich is in my opinion the best library for styling website interfaces.
